I got my first rejection for the query I sent out. It didn’t feel good. Suddenly the words and sentences and paragraphs that make up my book just don’t look as incredibly good as I thought they did. I feel like I’m in high school again and I’m dreading going back tomorrow because a bully made fun of me. I know it will pass, but for now it’s just rough. Hopefully the next reply will be better.
Anyone else been there?
